Valentine’s Night In

Even though we’re both vaccinated and boosted, Liz and I have continued to stay in/home more often than not. Tonight, we celebrated Valentine’s Day with a home cooked meal and hung out with one another (and the bunnies in the distance).

For dinner, we had one of our favorites: pasta carbonara.

We also toasted a little bread, and used a delicious garlic spread Liz made.

Along with the meal, we broke out a 2008 bottle of GlenDronach (a whisky we were introduced to during our Scotland trip, in Inverness).

We picked up this bottle the following day at the GlenDronach distillery. And it’s been something we only tend to have sparingly, on special occasions.
