Maggie Rogers: Alaska

I was listening to an old collection of songs on Spotify (I think it was my favorite songs from 2016).At some point, I’m scanning over this huge list of songs… and I see something that doesn’t quite look familiar.

I apparently favorited Alaska, by Maggie Rogers. And had no memory of it. I decided to play the track, and found myself instantly hooked.

Interesting historical side note: apparently, there was some Masterclass session involving Pharrell Williams hearing her work (and this song in particular), way back when. Interesting trivia.
