End Table: Fitting

On the way to class, spotted this public project by Matthew Hoffman.

Funny to think that I spotted my first You Are Beautiful sticker, back in 2002, some 23 years ago. And I’ve been seeing more and more of Matthew’s work since then.

Today, we fitted all our pieces together, so that we could measure and fit the bottom shelf and tabletop. We’re actually ahead of schedule today, and ended up having a more laid back pace.

We cut the bottom shelf to size, and also rounded the edges of the tabletop. We’ve been focused so far on the pieces to date, and it’s interesting/surprising to see everything come together in this way.
