Cloudy Sootface

During the day, Liz lets Cloudy run free in the living room (where she has her office set up).

We got called away today quite suddenly, as a neighbor had an emergency they needed help with. I rushed out/over, and Liz followed soon after. During this time, when Liz ran out… she left Cloudy in the front living room area, unattended.

On returning, we found she had gotten into the fireplace a bit. And had pushed her face inside, getting it covered in soot.

It’s a bit hard to see. Her nose has a natural, dark patch of fur – but from her nose to her eye, that dark run shouldn’t be there. That came from her investigations, and her trying to get into the fireplace.

Liz was curious why she only had smudges on one side of her face. And then put it together – Cloudy only has one eye, and naturally this is the side of her face she was using to investigate.
