Hazel the Relaxed Gangster

Lately, in addition to Hazel preferring to spend time in the Hut… she’s shown a particular affinity to chewing on her willow tent.

It’s an odd thing, because she’ll oftentimes still have a plate of greens available… but she’ll be chomping away at the willow. I’m not sure I can fully explain it, but it’s a behavior we’ve noticed that’s increased lately. At around the same pace as her preference for grooming things.

Snapped this photo with Hazel, chomping on a bit of willow like the 1930’s era gangster that she is. Soon after this, she began booping us with her nose, asking for protection money.

And back in the hut, relaxing.
