Heat Rash

I had what I thought were mosquito bites on both arms, but turns out… I got a bit of heat rash. I think I had something like this before, a long while back, when working in some extremely hot conditions (a few areas on my arms that looked like blisters, but just ended up being sweat trapped under skin).

The good news: not much discomfort (besides a bit of itchiness). And I think it’s not something that sticks around for very long. Honestly, it looks fine normally and only looks bad right when I get out of the shower.

Makes sense – the last two days working have involved pretty much non-stop heat. First in the back office area (which has AC, but I sealed off the room as I was working with insulation). And then a full day outside, in pretty humid and hot conditions.

Hopefully it goes away soon. The red is kind of messing with the perfect farmer’s tan that I’ve been curating.
