Scotland, Day 2: Breakfast at Cafe Wander, Good Spirits Company, Falls of Falloch, Shopping at Green Welly, Settling in at Glencoe House

Our stay in Glasgow was brief (we just had an overnight, and were out the next day to Glencoe).

We had a leisurely morning, stopping off for breakfast at Cafe Wander.

Afterwards, we trekked up the street to shop at The Good Spirits Co.

On our way out of the city, we snapped a photo of the statue of the Duke of Wellington.

En route to Glencoe, stopping off at the Falls of Falloch.

A little know tip: there’s a fantastic whisky shop at The Green Welly Stop.

Seeing the new Highland Park branding in the wild.

Stopping off in Glencoe, for a quick selfie.

Outside our cottage, at Glencoe House. We’ll be making camp here for a few days, exploring the area.

One nice amenity: a hot tub!

A big plus – a fully functioning kitchen.

First floor bathroom, complete with heated floor tiles.

Our bedroom, up on the second floor.

Another lovely amenity: a stocked fridge.

Also – we had a freezer full of dinners, which we could heat in our convection oven. If we wanted to, we could go out for dinner – but our stay included multiple dinners.

And a washer/dryer on premise!

Breakfast options.

At the end of the night, enjoying some drams from Lady of the Glen (ab 11 year old Glen Elgin which we purchased in Glasgow, from The Good Spirits Co).
