Driving… Right

Even though it’s been several days since we’ve returned from Scotland, and I’ve since been behind the wheel on American soil… I have to catch myself. The transition back to driving on the right side of the road is easier than I thought, but it hasn’t yet been complete.
At certain times, I get a bit of a shock and wonder if I’m on the right correct side of the road. When making a left turn out of a parking lot, I have to pause and stop myself from pulling the car all the way over to the left-most lane.
This isn’t quite muscle memory, but it’s close. For all the time and effort I spent adjusting to the roads in Scotland, I now need to get my head on left. Right. Wait, I mean… no, I mean right, right? Right.
