Shellac, Refined
Liz recently got a new coffee grinder for the kitchen, but it wasn’t for what you think.

I walked downstairs this morning to see this: a whole mess of shellac flakes sitting on a coffee filter.

Filling the grinder. Liz warned me to never use this grinder for anything we’d actually consume. Beyond all logic, we chose to store this thing in the kitchen.
It’s going to be a fun emergency room visit, someday.

Refined shellac, which should make the mixing process much easier. Looking at this, I tried to convince her that we were a few steps, on our way to becoming methamphetamine cooks. Despite all the good points I raised, I got shouted down.
