A Return to Shellac

Today, Liz went down to the basement and spent some time reviewing/revisiting the work she’d done to prep for our trim. She mixed up newer variations, and was working on dialing in the formula for the shellac/stain for our overall trim.

This has been a long, ongoing process. And to be honest, there have been so many variations, so much complexity… I’ve lost track. I know Liz has been keeping meticulous notes, and has been exploring a ton of avenues.

Tonight, after a long sabbatical, she’s rolled up her sleeves to take another look.
