Sorting the Trim, Continued

Back in the basement today, going through and pulling out boards. We’re focusing just on the window trim for now, due to us wanting something easier as a first trim project… and also due to space considerations.

A fun process: we identified some boards that were for the room and not the windows. To make some space, we relocated a lot of 14′ – 16′ boards.

To get them off the tops of our sawhorses, we had to do this threading motion (feeding them in at an angle). A little challenging given that these were super-long boards, in a basement.

The storage we have against the wall is made of three sawhorses. Think about making a tight three-point turn in a car, and you’ll kind of get the gist of what we had to do.
