The closest I’ve come to “Paris underground” is visiting the chalk caves at Taittinger. Which isn’t quite the same thing.
One of these days, it would be lovely to get back to Paris. And perhaps finally explore the official catacombs. Sans bike, of course.
Six years later, I got to see it again when I visited Paris with friends.
I left work a bit early today, to meet up with Liz at the Blue Line. This may be news to some, but she is heading off to Paris for two weeks (and I’m staying in Chicago).

It is very immersive, and at times the video seemingly pulls you into a building only to them propel you away. Many parts are quite frenetic and fast-paced, which is actually the exact opposite of how I view Paris.
