On our way home, we decided to swing by Lincoln Park Zoo. Given the cold and the outdoor nature of the zoo, we decided to park and go for a bit of a stroll.

This looks to be a really fascinating documentary, though it also looks like it would be really tough to sit through. I still haven’t gotten up the courage to watch The Cove yet, and some portions of the trailer strike me as being difficult to watch.

Stacey, Shane and the kids came in to Chicago on Friday, and we spent a lot of that time eating and hanging out. On Friday, shortly after they arrived, we met up with them at Rainforest Cafe (which was really close to their hotel). On Saturday, we trekked out to Lincoln Park Zoo to walk around a bit – a trip the kids were excited to make, to visit the gorillas.

Liz and I headed over to the Lincoln Park Zoo early this morning, to go take some photos at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Liz has been participating in weekly projects via Sew Weekly – and so we have a standing appointment to do photoshoots on Sunday mornings. With all the snow out, we decided going someplace warm (and indoors) would be best.
