Life is Good
I’m sitting in my shorts, no shirt, the windows are wide open and it’s a cool 70 degrees outside. A slight breeze is coming in through the windows, cooling off what has been the sauna of my apartment. I’m two beers into the night, on an empty stomach, chatting with Juliet on Yahoo! and updating my blog. For the past hour, there’s been this guy who was singing in Spanish. He’s got a beautiful voice, and I know he’s not drunk. It’s not a loud, obnoxious slurring kind of singing. He’s focused, exact… and at the end of every song, a group of people start clapping and whistling. He’s really got a nice voice.
I am far from any kind of uncomfortableness and today has turned into the kind of day where you’re just wanting to thank someone, something for the privilege of witnessing such a nice, perfect, Tuesday.
