Hello Sweden!

So, over the past few days, I’ve noticed a bit of a spike in the traffic to this site. Mostly, it seems like peoeple are linking up that experiment I made combining music and pi. Most days, I sift through the generic web stats program that I have through my host. But I ended up downloading an app, and looked directly at my raw access logs.

Lots of traffic lately, it seems.

Mostly, it started at the weebls-stuff forums, a few days back.

Then, I started seeing traffic come in from a place called milk and cookies.

And finally, today, I found a bunch of folks coming in via a link on a site called Buzz. I’m not even sure where the .se domain refers to. Sweden? No idea. I’m guessing the comments on this page are Swedish, and a majority of them seem to be in the “thumbs down” category. No clue what they’re saying though.

It’s weird. That pi thing I made some three years ago, so it’s old news to me. It’s flattering to see that it’s sort of making the rounds. I like seeing the progression, looking through the list of referrers and watching it spread around to different sites. So far, out of all the stuff I’ve made or posted on here, this seems to be the one that’s getting the most attention. Some 3 years after the fact.
