Pre-Move Moving

last night, Liz and I drove to Frankfurt to switch cars. She left her car there, and we took her step-dad’s truck back to the city.

Today, the two of us took the day off from our respective jobs and spent it loading/packing boxes. All in all, we did about two full trips, and spent the remainder of the evening resting up and gathering the remaining odds and ends for tomorrow.

This pile (above) is what we had left, at the end of the evening.

I didn’t take any photos today, as I just plain forgot. The whole day was about moving boxes over to the new place. Liz’s old place was on Addison, just about two blocks shy of Wrigley Field – and the traffic from the Cubs game also made it pretty fun.

Long day, but we made a strong dent into the move. Tomorrow – the big day.
