Fundraising, Kickstarter and the 25% Rule

My friend James continues to work on raising funds for his book, and is currently at 24% of his target goal. I recently read a post by James, referencing a statistic that listed a 94% success rate for Kickstarter Projects that manage to attain at least 25% of their fundraising.
His project has been at 24% for a while, and it’d be great see that odometer flip, so to speak. James has gotten a lot of strong press recently, appearing on Q101 and getting a nice write-up on The Onion’s AV Chicago.
Swing by and take a look at James’ project. Every donation, even small ones, go a long way. It may be more apt to say that especially the small ones go a long way. The more the merrier.
