I’m Presenting at 20×2 Chicago!

I got an email from 20×2 organizer Kevin Newsum, asking if I’d like to participate in the event when it comes to Chicago. Though it’s been going on at SXSW for 10 years now, the upcoming Chicago show will only be the second time the event has been outside of Austin.

I hadn’t heard of the event before, but it sounded like something I would really like. At each event, 20 speakers are asked to adddress the same question. They’re given 2 minutes to do so, and can take any approach they want (so long as they remain within the timeframe). Like Pecha Kucha, the format is fixed… but allows for an interesting range of interpretations.

For the event, the question is “Who Knew?” Prior event question included “Who Are You?” “What’s the Big Idea” and “Who Loves Ya Baby?” I’m not quite sure yet how I want to tackle the prompt, but it’s definitely got the little hamster in my brain running around.

Here’s the event info:

Friday, September 17th at 8:00 PM
Martyrs’
3855 N Lincoln Avenue
Tickets: $10

Huge thanks to Andrew, who I found out is now part of the crew and pased along my info to Kevin. I’m excited to be participating – should be a fun time!
