Liz’s Lady Grey Coat Featured: Colette Patterns and Sew, Mama, Sew!
In a recent segment on the Sew, Mama, Sew! website… they asked several people in the sewing industry to look back on 2010, and for their thoughts on what’s in store for 2011.
Today’s post, by Sarai Mitnick of Colette Sewing Patterns, features Liz and her Lady Grey coat!.
Each person interviewed is asked a series of questions (what were your favorite fabrics/prints, things they’re ready for the world to get over, etc). They were also asked this gem of a question: What is one of the best things you saw that was made by someone else?
So get this – the woman that created the Lady Grey coat pattern singles out Liz’s coat as her example! How awesome is that?
You know what blows my mind still? The fact that Liz began learning how to sew last May. My wife totally rocks.
