Sewing in the Dining Room

A few weeks back, Liz started to take some classes at The Needle Shop, learning some of the fundamentals of sewing. The classes are pretty intense, as far as I can tell, with each one usually lasting about 4+ hours or so.

That said, the classes are usually designed so that participants walk away with some tangible project/object. So far, Liz has created a pillow cover (complete with zipper), a large shoulder bag, and a small purse (above).

A few supplies, spread out on the table. It’s nice to have this dining room finally, as this area used to be where we kept Baxter and Quincy. But now that we’ve relocated them to the sun room, this space is ours to use again.
