Checking In on Quasar and Ignatz
While Justin is away at SXSW, I’m checking in on his two cats: Quasar and Ignatz.
It’s been a little while since I’ve seen them, and the two of them have most definitely grown. But it’s funny, when I compare the photos I took to when I first met them… their personalities are still very much the same.
I thought the two of them would remember me instantly, but the past few days… they’ve still been wary of me (the first day, especially).
Quasar has always been a little aloof. He now allows me to approach him, but he’ll still scamper off about 50% of the time. When he does stick around, I’ll get to pet him once or twice before he walks away.
Iggy, on the other hand, is much more laid back and all about the petting. He was wary on day 1, but has gotten a lot friendlier. He’ll usually come to me pretty easily, whenever I call.
Seeing Quasar all serious-like, I can’t help but think of Business Cat.

That’s funny – when Quasar & Ignatz (my grand-kitties) are here I find them to be just the opposite. Quasy is very loving & clingy, while Iggy hides out for the first day or so, and is generally more aloof. Love ’em both though!
