Halloween Costumes in the Office, 2011

We did end up having a few folks at the office dress up for Halloween, which was always a great thing to see. I was talking with AJ in the weeks leading up to Halloween, and was figuring it would just be the two of us in costume. When I arrived, I was happy to see a few more folks in costume:

Al, hiding in Conference Room B when everyone expected ninjas to be hiding in Conference Room A. Very sneaky!

Also – I didn’t even notice the star in his hands until days later.

Meagan, dressed as a Victorian-era vampire. Hard to see here, but the fangs she had in were super convincing!

Al the ninja, Laurence dressed as a b-boy (complete with tattoo sleeves) and Tim pulling off an excellent Indiana Jones. I would have loved to have seen Tim on the El, reaching between the closing train doors trying to retrieve his hat.

AJ, pulling off an awesome Candyland costume. According to her, as the day wore on… it got harder and harder to keep all the pieces adhered. The simple act of sitting and standing up would pop a few of the guys off.

It’s always depressing coming downtown on Halloween, as I rarely see anyone else in costume on the way in to work. That said, I’m glad a few other coworkers are willing to be a little silly and dress up.
