Helmet Cam Video: Two Motorbikes Race Through the Streets of Lagares, Portugal
I don’t know what it is about South America that makes it so ideal for these types of events: the narrow, labyrinthine walkways? The enthusiastic crowds that line the course, willing to risk life and limb for a glance or a photograph?
Most of the videos I’ve seen are of a single rider on a bicycle – sometimes two, going together. But I’ve never seen motorbikes before. And racing against one another, to boot.
The course seems way too narrow for a rider to pass another, so it seems like once someone’s out in front… there’s no catching them. Still makes for an entertaining video though.
