I’ve Been Working on the Railroad…

Saw a lot of construction workers, on one of the tracks near our station stop. As we walked further down, past the group of workers I spotted a line of machines – one seemingly “parked” behind the other.
My guess is that they’re either building or repairing existing tracks, and each vehicle performs a very specific function – and is reliant on the vehicle before it.
The day was already pretty hot, and it was uncomfortable outside. But I swear – if I didn’t have to go in to work, I would have stayed out here and watched. And probably tried to talk to the workers, to ask a bunch of annoying questions.
This was really a fascinating thing to see. Wish I could have see them in action…
