Brick Work

There’s work in the basement that I hope to talk about soon (still in progress). But of significant note: we’ve been repairing some of the brick in various spots. Bob was over tonight and helped show Liz his process for using mortar and patching up areas with new bricks.

One area that’s needed some help is directly below the basement stairs. You can see what it looked like originally from this post, and it’s now nicely patched up.

We’re fast getting to a point now where we can continue our work on the basement bricks, and finish working our way around the back area.
