Doorways

I spent a good amount of today in the office, just working on the computer. Late in the afternoon, as I was heading downstairs… I noticed the glow of the setting sun, on the door that leads to our main office (currently out storage room).

The door in the middle goes to the office; the one on the left is a closet; and the one on the right leads to the guest room (also currently storage).

This photo doesn’t capture the warmth of the glow. The brightness is too harsh here, as it was much richer, more yellow and orange.

Still, it was a nice moment. It’s been a while since I’ve been surprised by sunlight in my apartment. And I guess this is the first time it’s happened to me here, in my first house.
