That’s a Serious Chainsaw
Spotted this while standing on the Metra platform. My first reaction was “cool!” My second was to grab my camera and snap a picture of this thing as it was barreling down the gravel along the Metra tracks.
The five year old in me was filled with sadness, knowing that I would have to turn around and go to work. When what I really wanted to do was follow this truck, and see this amazingly HUGE chainsaw do whatever it was designed and made to do.
Because whatever it was, it was going to be awesome.
I was never that into construction stuff as a kid. But as an adult, I find it all really fascinating. I want to see it all work, but I also want to walk up next to each person and ask “What does that do?” and “What about that? and “What about that?”
