Week Delays

I’ve been falling into a rough pattern on the blog, lately. No daily updates, then a scramble to get a week’s worth of posts done in a sitting.

Things have been busy lately, and I dislike falling into the 2000’s era trope of “Sorry everyone, haven’t posted in a while.” But this is essentially that. Those types of messages are why I wanted to start a daily blog in the first place, and now I’m slipping it seems.

Lately, the idea of quantity over quality is weighing on me. Should I do less frequent, but longer posts? But the whole premise of this site is daily posts?

You’d think that with being at home 24/7, I’d have more time. And in some really weird turn of events, that doesn’t really seem to be the case. I’m thinking now of the adage that work meetings will always fill up the time you schedule them for. It seems like that’s holding true for me, in terms of work.

I’ll be thining more on the posting schedule, and trying to figure out how to prevent against long droughts.
