Las Catalinas, Day 4: A Delayed Discovery

Today was one of the first days I actually made it into the pool. I don’t go swimming all that often, and prior to today I was mostly lounging on a deck chair, reading.

I walked into the pool slowly, and made my way towards the low ledge (where you can hang your arms over, and just look out over the side of the house). Best spot in the pool.

Right before I was going to lean over the ledge, I realized that my phone was still in my pocket.

I more or less took that phone for a bath. And never really recovered.

Fortunately for me, I had gotten a lot of photos from the first half of the trip off my phone. But lost a few from earlier in the day. And was without a phone the rest of our trip.
