Harder to Find Hardware

Liz was excited to receive this in the mail, today. For all her searching (she’s been on the lookuut for years for hardware that matches our house)… she’d never encountered window pulls (aka sash lifts) before.

To clarify: she’s found them of the same era as our house. But never with the same design as is on the rest of our hardware. She yelped when she saw it available for purchase online, and it all arrived today.

It’s amazing how much hardware she’s found to date. But it’s equally amazing how long she’s been looking for such things (going on seven years now). The window pulls are a rare variation of a thing that was already rare to begin with.
