Weighing Phineas

As part of giving Phineas his fluids, I’ve taken to trying to weigh him… to see whether or not he’s losing or gaining weight.

One of our last visits to the vet showed that Phineas had lost a substantial amount of weight – a very concerning thing. On his latest visit, he’d gained a bit more… but is still a ways away from where he “normally” should be.

I’m happy to report that today’s weigh-in has him at the same level. So no loss of weight (a good thing), so he’s at least maintained his weight over the last week or so.

Phineas moves around a lot, so trying to get a good photo with a stable weight was a bit tricky. It’s hard not to laugh, and to not think of the classic Hossenfeffer Bugs Bunny episode.

His weight was good. Here’s hoping he keeps at this level, and maybe puts on a few pounds.
