Small Noodle Shops in Osaka Nara

There is a YouTube channel devoted to small noodle shops in Osaka Nara prefecture, Japan. These videos are all super high quality, and follow the chefs/owners as they prepare for the day.

It’s easy to forget how small these kitchens must be, as the camera blends easily into the shuffle and hustle between stations.

It’s odd to say, but I found these videos… relaxing? It’s not so much watching someone work as it is watching someone who is skilled at work. There’s also a pretty non-zero chance I’ve been secretly craving noodles as well, so there’s always that.
