Marine Corps Marathon 2024, Day 4: Meeting Tricia and Paige at Busboys and Poets, Marathon Expo
The initial plan was for all of us to meet for dinner last night at Busboys and Poets. But Tricia and Paige ended up missing their flight (but catching a later one). So instead, we opted to meet today for lunch.
After lunch, we trekked over to the Marathon Expo for everyone to get their bibs (and to check out some of the vendors).
Liz, getting her bib and patch.
For most of the day, but especially starting from here on out… Liz kept saying “I’m freaking out!”

Though we got here pretty late on the second day, there were still a good number of folks in attendance.
Fun to see so many runners (and family/friends supporting those runners). The feeling was slightly infectious, and kinda made me want to be part of the excitement. And then I remembered how many miles are required for a marathon, and that moment quickly passed.
