The Tallest Man on Earth: Criminals
Recently started listening to The Tallest Man on Earth again. There’s some new albums I’m not familiar with, but I went back to “There’s No Leaving Now,” which is very much my favorite.
The song “Criminals” is the one that’s been stuck in my head lately.
Well there were days when you thought you’d just go under
And the weekends you never understood
When you flew from the bar only 17
You didn’t bleed, and no one ever thought you would
And the weekends you never understood
When you flew from the bar only 17
You didn’t bleed, and no one ever thought you would
Kristian Matsson writes some lovely songs, and there’s this great combination of melody and lyrics. There is an aura of nostalgia in this song, and it seems appropriate – as I’m returning to the song, many years later.
