Travel Day, Chicago to Indy

Travel day! Started off with a late breakfast at Plein Air Cafe. Thankfully, no surprise morning snowstorms, today.

Continuing our leisurely pace, we stopped by Seminary Co-op, to do a little book browsing. Spotted one of my all-time favorite short story collections: Letting Loose the Hounds, by Brady Udall.

This book is currently in storage (along with all my other books). I miss it terribly, and had to fight the urge to purchase it here on the spot.

Fast forward to Indy, several hours later. It’s late at night, we’ve unloaded the car, and are hanging out in the kitchen with Stacey and Shane. As a late nightcap, Shane offers me up a little moonshine.

And an appropriate vessel for the spirit.

Everyone having a slow, relaxing night… especially Kaya.
