Office Drywall: Day 4

Today, we figured the drywallers would just be able to get some sanding done, and maybe a coat of primer. It turns out, they got the sanding done, primed everything, and got two coats of pain on the ceiling.

Our ask was to have everything primed, but to just paint the ceilings (because it was something we couldn’t easily reach).

On walking in, we were just amazed. And giggling an awful lot.

Sharp, crisp lines. And they made our fireplace look pretty good.

An amazing bit of work on the ceiling/turret.

Our next step is to get windows recreated/replaced, and to also get our closet doors reframed.

Looking back at the fireplace.

Can’t stop looking at the turret, and the wagon wheel.

Going to be quite interesting to see what this looks like, once we get a light fixture in place.

Looking East, with the furnace wall on the right and the wall against the main bedroom directly ahead.

Liz, checking out the space and envisioning next steps.

Celebratory drams, marvelling at the current space and figuring out what’s next.

It’s been a long journey, to get here. I would recommend taking a look at the prior posts for our office, as this… today… is quite the transformation.
