Cold Prep: Insulating the Office Closets and Window

There’s a cold snap coming in, with a few days of pretty frigid temps. They start overnight, so my plan today was to seal up our closet doors in the front office… as well as the recently demo-ed window.

We ended up removing the two closet doors in the office, prior to the flooring work. Mostly because the height of the floor was going to change, so we didn’t want to have these doors “stuck” after the work.

In the meanwhile, we sealed the doors with some foam board as a temporary measure. Tonight thought, I wanted to add a bit more protection against the upcoming sub-zero temps.

The reently demo-ed window.

A few items removed from the closets, along with some extra insulation to boot.

The window, insulated and covered with a layer of plastic.

Closet doors, protected.
