More Fire

I cannot stress how lovely it’s been, to finally have a working fireplace in the house. We’ve been having a lot of fires in the evenings, whenever we can.

In terms of firewood, we initially got some from the nearby Ace Hardware. Then Liz found a source out in the suburbs, and got about a quarter rick. Then we ran out, and got firewood from Home Depot.

In terms of getting a larger quantity, we’ll need to do that (seems more cost effective, than going out buying a few bundles at a time).

I’m not a fan of working directly on a laptop (I prefer a monitor, and vastly prefer typing on a keyboard). But I’m sucking it up, and making do – as the warm glow of the fireplace reminds me that I really have nothing to complain about.
