Extension Extension

I was in the basement today, looking to reach a bracket that was tucked behind the furnace. Our condensate line sometimes freezes up, and I was wanting to pull more of the PVC away from the exterior wall (in the hopes that this spot was the spot freezing up).

I tried getting my hands into the space, behind the ductwork. But even with the fancy right angle attachment I had, it was really challenging. After looking around, I had a crazy idea.

I had not one, but two extenders for my impact drill. I wasn’t sure how well this would fare, but it did the trick! If you’re surprised, well that makes two of us.

I guess it doesn’t have to look pretty, it just has to work.
