Apartment Hunting

Steph showed me another place tonight. While it’s cheaper ($815), the layout of the apartment didn’t do much for me. The kitchen seemed too extended, the rooms a bit too cramped. The whole place seemed inefficient, in terms of how the rooms were designed. For only $30 more a month, I could have a larger apartment, with two bedrooms and a humongo kitchen.

I’m seriously considering the apartment under Ted’s place (my landlord). Right now, it seems to be a good thing. I’d be saving money, starting over somewhat. New place, new life. There may be some drawbacks to living right beneath your landlord – no wild parties, noise level. But I’m a fairly quiet guy, and when I have friends over, we still get famously drunk… we’re just more quiet about it. :)

If you can think of any reasons why I shouldn’t move into an apartment below my landlord, by all means let me know.
