This is a great collection of thirteen movie poster trends, with each example grouping a ton of similar movie posters together.

This is a perfect example of repetition and variation, and it’s amazing how much each type of poster screams out “I’m a movie.”

If you’re used to movie posters looking very similar, you may have also noticed a trend going on with movies and color.

I wonder how long this must have taken, to create all these groupings. It sounds weird to say, but I bet it was a ton of fun cycling through all those images, looking for patterns within the mix.
