Hearthstone: Online Card Game Based on World of Warcraft

A few days before our our big move, Chris told me about a game called Hearthstone (which he had heard about, via Matt M).

I’m not usually one for card games, but this approach has everything online (no actual, physical cards). The game is free to play, and remarkably easy to pick up.

The process to level-up is really quite nice, and there’s a tremendous amount of “practice” you can do, prior to competing with others online. There are ways to purchase cards and things like that (naturally), but they don’t seem to interfere with keeping the playing field level.

It was tough to get introduced to something this fun, prior to losing Internet for about two weeks. But it’s a fun diversion now that I’ve got the Internet once more, and something easy to pop into for a few minutes here and there.
