Coding a Lot Lately

This is one of those generic “sorry I haven’t blogged much lately” blog posts. Which I really hated, back when I would encounter them circa 2000. But that was for sites that would go silent for weeks on end, only to then have a “It’s been so busy lately” post – and then a few more weeks of nothing.

I’ve been doing the daily blog thing a while now. And so hopefully I’ve earned a little leeway in this regard. But I guess I still don’t like that I’m doing this.

Lately, I’ve been spending as much free time as I can working on a side project. Which – yay! I went through a spell there of a few weeks where I didn’t have any kind of side project. Which felt… weird.

So to have something that again takes up my interest and attention is an awesome feeling. But letting the blog slip, and having the sense that there aren’t enough hours in the day… less of an awesome feeling. But I’m hoping you understand.

I’m excited to launch this thing and make it live to the world, but I’m still ironing out some kinks. It’s about 90% functional, but there’s a decent amount of fine-tuning that I’d like to do yet. But it’s getting there, and I’m getting excited.
