Temporary Heat
Spent the day with Bob, as he was over helping us get set up with some temporary heat on the second floor. Our eventual goal is to have a furnace on this level as well (Bob explained to us that the best way to regulate temperatures on multiple levels is for each floor to have its own HVAC unit).
While this will be a temporary unit, it will help keep the first floor warmer. And will also help, when we start to do more work up here on the second floor.
Late in the evening, he found that the condensate tubing inside the furnace was busted, and needed to be replaced. So we didn’t fire things up – but it’s about 99% done.
In the early evening, Bob got a decent sized cut on his finger. While I was trying to find a large enough bandaid for him, he patched himself up with a paper towel and some electrical tape.
I know Bob’s had a lot of experience getting injured on job sites, and also tending to wounds on job sites. But I was still in awe of the contraption. We continue to be so very fortunate to have his help.
