Halloween in Hyde Park

Not a lot of photos to share, this Halloween. With Liz under the weather, she only manned the door a few times over the course of the night. Since she didn’t want to risk being outside too much (still recovering from the flu), I ended up doing a lot of the door greeting and handing out of candy.

It’s always a blast to see so many kids show up in our neighborhood, and all the various costumes. We got around 8 big bags of candy, and made it a point to only give out one piece per kid. By our estimates, we handed out about 300 pieces – and we ended up running out around 8PM.

Sadly, we didn’t end up walking over to Harper to check out the main event. Liz didn’t want to risk going out in the cold, and so we just stayed in. Next year!
