The Wrong Direction
One of my tasks over the weekend was to cleanly cut the ceiling drywall, so that we could get rid of the loose stuff… and preserve the remaining drywall that I had secured with washers. Bob snapped a line for me as a guide, and I continued the work that Liz started on Saturday.
The goal was to cut as close as we could to the washers, and notch out a small tooth around each washer. This is what it should look like.
Unfortunately, I cut a few notches incorrectly before realizing my mistake. There were curse words uttered.
Not terrible, but boy do I wish I would have gotten those first few cuts right.
