Brief Game Night

Liz and I hung out a bit downstairs, where it’s definitely a bit cooler. We had a very short board game night before dinner, deciding to break out Santorini, to give that a go again.

The last time we played this was during a vacation last year. This time around, there was no clear winner (with a piece making it to the top level), and instead involved a “forced move” that resulted in a winner.

Seems like we’re getting the basics down. Not sure yet if this is a great game for just two players, but there are some additional cards that might make things a bit more interesting.

Admittedly, we don’t have a ton of board games. And most of what we have tends to be for multple players (Ticket to Ride, Carcasonne). Will be interested to find something that’s ideal for two, with a lot of replayability.

A short game night, but still fun. And hey, with all the heat lately… at least we didn’t end up losing power tonight.
