Falling Leaves

Several days ago, I happened to be downstairs and caught a flurry of leaves falling outside. I was talking with Liz, but kept getting distracted because of how many leaves seemed to be coming down.

We had a strong rain the other night. And it seemed the leaves were all poised to drop. And the strong winds today made it feel like a movie, like an early snow.

There isn’t much to this video. It’s just a snippet of the afternoon, standing on my front porch, as the leaves just seemed to pour down. A hint of fall, a signal of the cold to come.

A quiet, unassuming moment I felt worth capturing.
