The Cut List

Spent more time coming up with a materials list, for the arbor. We worked off the original design, adjusting the height to where we wanted. And also decided to increase the depth of the arbor (from 2′ to 3′ between the beams).

Initially, I had us getting 10′ beams. But re-doing the math, realized we were going with the 10 footers for a difference of 2″. If we were ok reducing the depth of the post holes, we could us a full 8′ beam instead.

Lots of numbers, lots of crunching, and lots of working with fractions again after a long time away. But I think we’ve got a good outline and a good plan.
