Making Fun Trailer
Spotted this today, and it looks fantastic.
The combination of a child’s art-direction with an adult’s implementation has always struck me as a thing of magic and entertainment. Seeing Netflix’s take on this makes me excited for the whole series.
I’m reminded a lot of Axe Cop, a comic created by a five year old, and then drawn by his 29 year old brother. A story that centers around a copy and his… well, axe.
And I’m also reminded of The Monster Engine, which sadly looks to no longer be a thing.
Ah, and also found Sissy’s MAgical Ponycorn Adventure (a video game created by a five year old, and brought to life by her Flash dev father). Sadly, Flash is dead, so this one is also relegated to the dustbins of the Internet.
Still, it’s a good formula, this pairing of kids and adults. Looking forward to it.
